At Seekers, we are dedicated to giving back to our community. Through our Seekers Supports program, our valued customers help us to select a charity to receive a $1,000 donation each quarter.
We are excited to announce that this quarter’s chosen organisation is Sustain: The Australian Food Network – a think-and-do network based in Preston, made up of farmers, researchers, policy experts and community connectors working to transform the way Australia grows, distributes and accesses food.
Through advocacy, research and on-the-ground community support, Sustain supports communities and organisations with the knowledge, tools and connections they need to become agents of food system transformation. Their work spans four key areas: connecting food system champions from all walks of life; supporting governments and organisations to transform food systems for equity, health and sustainability; building the evidence base for food policy; and advocating for change in the halls of power.
At the heart of it all is a simple but urgent goal – tackling food insecurity and pushing for a food system that works for people and the planet, not just profit.
Visit Sustain to learn more about the important work they are doing within the community.
